Moshe is responsible for creating the internal control procedures and corporate processes that ensure the integrity of cash, income and expenses. He brings a full range of technical expertise and strategic management skills to enhance the performance of Elon and its properties. Moshe Gelfond has 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from BMG. Sam is a twenty year veteran EMT volunteer and is an active and respected member of his community. During his time at the company, Sam was instrumental in the exponential growth of the Company and positioned it for a profitable sale. Moerman served as Chief Operating Officer for a web-based communications company. Prior to joining The Lightstone Group, Mr. Moerman was part of a core team that grew the management company from 1300 multi-family units into one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the United States. Sam served as Vice President from 1997 until 2008 at The Lightstone Group. The properties were located in diverse markets in the United States. During his tenure at Empirian, Sam oversaw all aspects of the management of more than 40,000 multi-family units. Prior to joining Elon, Sam was the Co-President of Empirian Property Management from 2008 through 2011. Moerman is also heavily involved in real estate acquisitions and due diligence. Moerman provides strategic direction for Elon, oversees all capital investments, and ensures all properties achieve maximum performance. In his role as president at Elon Property Management, Mr. Moerman co-founded Elon Property Management and currently serves as President and one of its principals, managing more than 15,000 multi-family units in 11 states. Sam’s exuberant personality is reflected in his strong rapport with his employees, his leadership style and ability to motivate. He is well-versed in all aspects of property management, asset management, sales and marketing, restructuring, acquisitions and dispositions. Sam Moerman is an accomplished leader with more than twenty years of real estate executive management experience with multi-family, retail and commercial properties. Nathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from CUNY in Economics and Computers. Nathan takes an active role in his community and volunteers his time for worthy causes. During his tenure at the Company, he helped position it to go public. Nathan was Senior Vice President for five years at Comverge Technologies, a subsidiary of the publicly traded company, DSSI. Nathan was part of the team which raised more than 90 million dollars for the publicly traded Lightstone REIT. He oversaw the management of over 40,000 multi-family units in more than twenty states.įrom 2003 to 2008, Nathan held several Executive Positions with The Lightstone Group, including Executive Vice President of Property Management, with a portfolio of over 20,000 multi-family units. Weldler served as Co-President of Empirian Property Management.
